How much does Mbappe cost? 16901025834118
Signing Kylian Mbappe, who is 24 years old and has one year left on his PSG contract, would cost between 160 and 180 million euros, according to the main organisations and websites that estimate the market value of footballers.

The football observatory CIES rates the player, who was cut from PSG's summer pre-season tour for refusing to renew his contract until 2025, at 163.2 million euros, taking into account that he has only one year left on his contract.
This estimate would rise to 261.8 million euros if the player's contract is for three years or more. Two of the transfer market's reference websites, Transfermarkt and Football Benchmark, give similar figures of around 180 million.

PSG will wait until 31 July, the deadline that president Nasser Al-Khelaifi set the player to find out if he will renew until 2025, to start evaluating offers. In any case, Mbappe would have to accept a transfer, something he has publicly rejected, as he intends to honour his contract until 2024 (when he could be signed by another club for free).
The suitors
French media continue to tip Real Madrid as favourites, who came close to signing him in 2021, but their bid of around 200 million was rejected. However, Saudi Arabian and English clubs have also been cited as suitors.

PSG, who have made a huge international name for themselves with Mbappe and won titles (albeit no Champions League), are looking to recoup some of the 180 million they paid Monaco in 2017, an amount that comes on top of the player's stratospheric salary of around 70 million a year, signed on renewal in 2022.

If the issue is not resolved, the French press speculates that Mbappe could spend a year without playing, as happened in 2019 with Adrien Rabiot, who also refused to renew. However, it would be the most unlikely outcome, considering that in 2024 there is the European Championship and the Olympic Games.

Already in Japan
Meanwhile, Luis Enrique's squad have already landed in Tokyo, where they will begin their Asian tour on Tuesday with a match against Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr. Thousands of miles away, Mbappe was left to train with those who PSG want to sell.

The French footballers' union has already warned that this situation could amount to "moral harassment" by PSG. In any case, on Saturday, PSG's all-time leading scorer showed no signs of stress and even signed autographs for some fans who were waiting for him at the gates of the Poissy sports complex
